Sarah. What made you want to be a cook?

Valerie. I did a lot of cooking at home

Sarah. Has the menu changed over the years?

Valerie. It has changed a lot over, mainly in the last few years.

Sarah.When did you train to be a cook?

Valerie. When I started at St Andrews School

Sarah. Have you enjoyed being a cook?

Valerie. Yes I have.

Sarah. Can you remember the first meal you prepared?

Valerie. Haven't a clue - quite possibly mince and tatties.

Sarah. What has been your funniest memory?

Valerie. Nothing to do with cooking - one of the staff got herself locked in the toilet.

Sarah. What has changed most about your time being a cook?

Valerie. Mainly paper work.

Sarah. What is your favourite meal that you have prepared at school?

Valerie. Roast Chicken, sage and onion stuffing, corn, carrots , roast tatties and meringue nests with fresh fruit.
